DAY 1: Paris
Welcome aboard! Your journey begins in the City of Love. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on board, raise a glass of champagne ¬and get in the mood for an unforgettable week. In the evening, it‘s time to cast off – and Paris, with its millions of lights, slowly disappears behind you.
DAY 2: Paris - LaRoche-Guyon - Rouen
In the early morning, you’ll arrive in the picturesque town of La Roche-Guyon with its remarkable castle, which awaits your visit today. Our included signature excursion, "Voices of the Castle,“ will introduce you to the castle‘s history and take you back in time. After a tasting of the finest local delicacies, it’s back on board — and not just for high tea, as the cruise continues towards Rouen at midday.

Set off by foot from docking spot to the remarkable Château de La Roche-Guyon, nestled between river and cliffs. At the foot of the hill, the château reveals its layered history. The original structure, carved into the rock, was hidden from view. Discover the fascinating history of the château blending medieval and Renaissance styles and once hosted royalty and Enlightenment thinkers. Owned by the La Rochefoucauld family since 1659, it became Field Marshal Rommel’s headquarters in 1944 during World War II peace talks. After your visit, unwind with some homemade products —juice, honey, and brioche—while taking in the stunning view over the Seine Valley from the terrace.

DAY 3: Rouen
Rouen – the "city of a hundred spires“ – welcomes you with its impressive cathedral and lively street cafés in its cozy old town. Use the time to explore Normandy‘s capital on your own – or accompany us on one of our varied excursions. How about a "monastic adventure“? Discover Normandy‘s spiritual and architectural heritage along the Abbey Route and visit the imposing Abbeys of Jumièges and Saint-Wandrille.
Late in the evening, the VIVA BEYOND docks in Duclair, where guests of the Boutique Suites are invited to an exclusive dinner at the Auberge des Ruines or the Ma¬noir de Rétival – a veritable moment of pleasure in a special ambience.
