In Normandy, the treasures of the sea and the freshness of the regional markets are reflected in refined dishes, while in Paris, haute cuisine and the creative avant-garde go hand in hand. DAY 1: Paris

Bonjour à Paris! Your journey begins in the French capital, where pleasure and joie de vivre are at home. Sit back, enjoy your first few hours on board and get in the mood for the culinary experiences to come with a fine dinner. In the evening, it’s time to set off westward on the Seine.

DAY 2: Paris - Le Andelys - Rouen

You will reach Les Andelys in the morning. After a photo stop at the imposing Château Gaillard, you’ll visit a local apple farm – an authentic encounter with the flavors of Normandy and our signature excursion, which is included for all guests. Back on board, a sweet highlight awaits you: high tea with a demonstration of how to make macarons by our pastry chef. Meanwhile, the VIVA BEYOND is already placidly making its way towards Rouen.

Enjoy a delightful escape into Normandy’s countryside with this half-day excursion from Les Andelys. Begin with a scenic photo stop at ruin Château Gaillard, the dramatic medieval fortress built by Richard the Lionheart, perched above the Seine River. Take in sweeping views of the valley and the charming town below—perfect for memorable photos.

Continue to the nearby Ferme des Ruelles, a traditional farm known for its sustainable practices that harmoniously combine agriculture and environmental protection. During your visit, you’ll learn about apple orchard cultivation and the production of regional specialties. The experience concludes with a tasting of farm-made products —a true taste of Norman terroir.

DAY 3: Rouen - Caudebec-en-Caux

Rouen welcomes you with impressive half-timbered houses, a charming old town and enticing aromas. On an historical walking tour, you‘ll not only discover the city but also regional delicacies – from tangy cheese to aromatic beer. Alternatively, you can visit the lively market, sample fresh specialties and allow yourself to drift through the hustle and bustle.

In the afternoon, you‘ll arrive in Caudebec-en-Caux. Guests of the Beyond Suites can enjoy an exclusive evening at the Maison Retival by Michelin-star red chef David Goerne or at the Auberge des Ruines in Jumièges – a feast for the senses.

DAY 4: Le Harve

Today, culture is combined with culinary delights. In the morning, you can explore Le Havre on your own or sample freshly baked crêpes in a maritime atmosphere on one of our excursions to Honfleur. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Deauville, where the finest seafood awaits you in the atmo sphere of an elegant seaside resort.

DAY 5: Le Havre

If you wish, you can join us today for an excursion to charming Étretat with its luminous chalk cliffs. Perfect for going for a walk accompanied by a sea breeze! Afterwards, we‘ll continue along the coast to Fécamp to the splendid ¬Benedictine Palace – a unique place where art, architecture and traditional liqueur production come together. The ship departs at midday

The garden showcases its beauty in both bright sunshine and rain, when the colors come to life in vivid detail. The Japanese-inspired water garden, shaded by majestic willows and surrounded by lush bamboo, rhododendrons, and azaleas, features the iconic water lily pond that served as the basis for Monet's extraordinary series "Les Nymphéas" (Water Lilies). DAY 7: Paris

Back in Paris, an day full of art and the Parisian lifestyle awaits you. Discover cultural treasures, experience the city‘s flair, and be enchanted by its unique blend of history and creativity. How about getting to know the City of Love from a “tortoise”? In a Citroën 2CV, you‘ll drive through the picturesque alleyways of Montmartre and past the majestic Sacré -Coeur Basilica, which towers high above Paris and offers impressive panoramic views.
