Seine River Itinerary
Day 1: Paris
Arrive into Paris and board your Arosa river cruiser during the afternoon. The ship is scheduled to set sail from Paris at 7pm and you can enjoy your first dinner on board as the ship heads along the Seine.Day 2: Rouen
Arrive at the medieval city of Rouen mid afternoon where you may visit the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral, depicted numerous times by Monet. You may also see the square where Joan of Arc was martyred. The Old Town is brimming with inviting boutiques.
Day 3: Rouen
Morning to explore Rouen on your own.Day 4: Vernon
Arrive early morning at Vernon which boasts a gothic church, fine arts museum, 12th century castles and famous old mill. Nearby is Giverny home to the house and gardens of the Impressionist master, Claude Monet. Monet lived here for over forty years, immortalizing the flowers, footbridges and stone structures of his home in some of his most well-known paintings, including the famous. Spend a full day in Vernon, with optional excursions offered to Claude Monet's Giverny and an optional city walk of Vernon including a visit to Chateau de Bizy and it's gardens.Day 5: Paris
Arrive in France's capital, Paris, where you will spend a full day. Wander its cosmopolitan and historical streets soaking up the Parisian atmosphere. Discover a wealth of historical buildings, world class museums and art galleries and of course great shopping, restaurants and buzzing cafe cultureDay 6: Paris
Your Seine Cruise comes to an end this morning as you disembark in Paris after a final breakfast on board.
