In Gorinchem, you don't have to look far to find the town's history, as the former fortifications have been preserved almost in their entirety. A special footpath now leads over the ramparts and promises wonderful vistas. On the 'Langendijk', Gorinchem's most beautiful shopping street, you can experience a great mix of old and new, with modern shops in a historic setting.
