DAY 1: STRASBOURG - EBERBACH

Coach transfer(2) available to Eberbach. Boarding at 6 p.m. Crew introductions and welcome cocktail. Dinner on board. Free evening. Take the opportunity to stroll through the small medieval town of Eberbach. Situated on the banks of the Neckar, it boasts half-timbered houses, historic fountains, and fortifications.

DAY 2: EBERBACH - HEIDELBERG

Morning cruise on the Neckar. The river winds through vineyards and typical villages, including the romantic towns of Hirschhorn, Neckarsteinach, and Neckargemünd, before reaching Heidelberg, dominated by its castle, in the early afternoon. Optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion: Heidelberg. Departure by coach to Heidelberg, the city that symbolizes German Romanticism. Meet the guides at Heidelberg Castle, where you will discover the exterior of this magnificent, partially ruined pink sandstone castle. Since the end of the 18th century, the castle ruins have inspired painters and poets who saw them as a symbol of the grandeur and decadence of human achievement. Goethe, Hölderlin, Uhland, and Eichendorff celebrated the castle landscape, while many painters chose it as a motif. Also discover the geometric terraces of the Palatinate Garden, the "Hortus Palatinus," once considered the "eighth wonder of the world." You will continue with your guides with a visit to the Old Town. You will admire the Church of the Holy Spirit (exterior), built between 1398 and 1441, the burial place of the prince-electors.

DAY 3: HEIDELBERG - RUDESHEIM

Morning cruise to Rüdesheim. You will sail on the Neckar River to Mannheim, where you will continue along the Rhine to Rüdesheim, passing through the towns of Mainz and Bingen before reaching Rüdesheim in the mid-afternoon. Optional excursions:

- AUTHENTIC: Miniature train, wine tasting and mechanical music museum in Rüdesheim. Departure by miniature tourist train for a guided tour of the Rüdesheim vineyards. Tasting in the historic cellars of the Bassenheimer Hof, a 16th-century stately home. Then drive to the Siegfrieds Mechanisches Musikkabinett museum, located in a historic 15th-century building. It houses an impressive collection of mechanical musical instruments and constitutes one of the largest and finest collections from the 18th to the 20th centuries.

- EXPERIENCE: Hike through the Rüdesheim vineyards. You will reach the center of Rüdesheim, the starting point for the cable cars that will take you to the Niederwald monument. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, the vineyards, and the Rhine. Continue with a hike through the vineyards to St. Hildegard's Abbey, built between 1900 and 1904. Free visit of the abbey and then return on foot to the boat through the vineyards.

In the evening, the famous Drosselgasse awaits you with its numerous taverns and orchestras.

DAY 4: RUDESHEIM - KOBLENZ

Morning cruise through the beautiful, romantic Rhine Valley and then on the Moselle River. With its castles, historic towns, vineyards, and the famous Lorelei Rock, the sublime landscape, deeply linked to history and legend, has inspired many writers, painters, and composers. Arrival in Koblenz in the early afternoon.

Optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE Excursion: Guided tour of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. In the heart of the picturesque Rhine-Moselle region, surrounded by the four Rhine massifs, the city of Koblenz offers visitors a rich array of cultural monuments and historical buildings. You will take the funicular to reach Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, from where you will have a magnificent view of the city, the Rhine, and the Moselle. Overlooking the mouth of the Moselle, it dominates the Rhine Valley in a location of great strategic importance.

DAY 5: KOBLENZ - COCHEM

Morning cruise to Cochem. You'll cruise the Moselle River and its idyllic landscapes, where towns and countryside coexist in perfect harmony. Arrive in Cochem early afternoon. Strolling through Cochem is an undeniable pleasure. Its historic alleyways, small squares, superb mansions along the Moselle, and intricate facades are enchanting.

Optional excursions:

- AUTHENTIC: Guided tour of Cochem Castle(3). Transfer to Cochem Castle by minibus. The Reichsburg dominates the Moselle in all its splendor. Guided tour of this magnificent castle dating back to the year 1000. Destroyed in the 17th century, it was completely rebuilt according to old plans in a neo-Gothic style. It is distinguished by its graceful turrets topped with pinnacles. After visiting the castle, you can enjoy some free time in the town. As you wander through its narrow, winding streets, you will see its half-timbered houses with slate roofs and the town hall square, which is steeped in history.

- EXPERIENCE: Panoramic hike in Cochem. Departure on foot along the Moselle before crossing the bridge to explore the old town of Cochem through its picturesque streets. You can admire the charming half-timbered houses, the St. Martin's Church, the Capuchin Monastery and the market square. Leaving the town in the heart of peaceful nature and forest, the path will take you to the castle overlooking the town, from where you will enjoy the magnificent panorama of Cochem and the Moselle. On the way down, pass by the "Tummelchen" which offers a view of the castle and then return through the upper town.

DAY 6: COCHEM - TRIER

A day cruise on the Moselle River to Trier, which you'll reach in the evening. Sail the Moselle and venture into a world where time seems to stand still, where each bend reveals a new facet of its captivating beauty. Immerse yourself in the timeless magic of this legendary river, where every moment is an invitation to discovery and wonder. Overnight stopover in Trier.

DAY 7: TRIER - SAARBURG - the Saar Loop - SAARBRUCKEN

Optional excursions:

- AUTHENTIC: Guided tour of Trier. Discover Trier's Roman cultural heritage, its view of the Moselle River, and its magnificent landscape. Known for being one of the seats of Roman imperial power, one of the great centers of early Christianity, and also a dynamic medieval city, it has retained precious architectural features from these three periods. You will notably see the amphitheater, the imperial baths, the Roman basilica, the famous Porta Nigra, which was designed both as a fortress and a monument, and the medieval St. Peter's Cathedral.

- EXPERIENCE: The Saar Loop Treetop Walk. Discover the Saar Loop from a new perspective. Departure by coach to Mettlach. Upon arrival, you can access the treetop walk, the fourth such trail in Germany. It offers breathtaking views of the Saar Loop, the most famous meander in all of Germany.

Return on board to Saarburg. In the afternoon, cruise on the Moselle and Saar rivers. Inseparable from the region's image, the Saar Loop is the highlight of any trip to the region. In the afternoon, you'll reach the famous "Saarschleife," also known as the "Great Saar Loop," in Mettlach. Here, deep in its valley, the river nestles in a green setting to create Germany's most famous meander. Continue cruising to Sarrebourg. Overnight stopover.
