From the Belgian capital to the famous Kinderdijk windmills, come and discover the beauty of the cities of the North and the authenticity of their land. A clever mix of architecture and local flavors. Thus you will come across Brussels, its medieval Grand-Place, Antwerp where the Red Star Line museum retraces the epic of the great wave of emigration to the United States between 1850 and 1930 and the magnificent Nottebohm room one of the best kept secrets of Antwerp. In Ghent you will find this admirable Flemish architecture which reveals an indisputable medieval heritage, here a beer tasting is a must and this local bouquet will delight your taste buds; or Bruges with its romantic airs, it conceals real treasures. Further on, the Delta plan, an impressive work of art and astonishing ingenuity, deploys the work of several decades. Finally, Holland unveils its famous mills in Kinderdijk, a unique know-how, for more than 1000 years
DAY 1 : BRUSSELS - AMSTERDAM

DAY 2 : BRUSSELS - ANTWERP
In the morning, optional excursions:
- AUTHENTIC: Brussels, the must-sees. The visit of the capital of Belgium will begin with a panoramic tour to discover the famous monuments of the city such as the Royal Park of Laeken or the Atomium dating from the Universal Exhibition of 1958. Then you will join the historic center of Brussels which is home to an exceptional architectural heritage, witness to the great moments in the history of the city. The Grand Place, bordered by the guild houses, the City Hall and the Maison du Roi, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The magnificent ornate facades of the buildings offer a harmonious blend of Gothic, classical and Baroque styles. You can also admire the Royal Palace of Brussels, the king's workplace, the Saint-Hubert gallery, the Sablon district and the famous Manneken Pis. Take advantage of free time to taste some local specialties (chocolate, waffles, fries, etc.) so many flavors to brighten up your taste buds.
- EXPERIENCE: Brussels, capital of comics. Did you know? Belgium is the country in the world with the largest number of comic book authors per square kilometer. Brussels therefore honors on its walls essential characters and authors of comics. Discover the murals of your heroes: Tintin, Gaston Lagaffe, Lucky Luke, Asterix, Corto Maltese and many others. Find other clues such as street signs and statues that refer to the 9th art. The history of comics will no longer hold any secrets for you. Visit the Belgian Comic Strip Center. A wonderful world where comics are Queen. An unmissable attraction located in the heart of Brussels, the Comic Strip Museum has been honoring the 9th Art for over 30 years. Return on board. Afternoon sailing to Antwerp. You will take the Brussels-Scheldt Canal, called the Willebroeck Canal, one of the oldest navigable canals in Belgium, or even in Europe. Then you will join the Scheldt, this river crosses three countries, France, Belgium and the Netherlands before flowing into the North Sea. Arrival in the evening in Antwerp. Overnight stopover.
DAY 3 : ANTWERP - GHENT
Optional excursions:
- AUTHENTIC: Antwerp, Het Steen Castle and the historic heart. Overlooking the Scheldt, the oldest building in the city, the magnificent medieval Het Steen Castle was built from 1200 to 1225 and was intended to defend and protect the city from invaders. Now transformed into the museum "The Antwerp Story", it offers in each of its rooms a part of the history of the city in a surprising and original way. You will travel to the heart of history and centuries by visiting the different rooms, and discover anecdotes, hidden secrets and buildings that the city of Antwerp contains. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Scheldt, the city and the port, the second largest port in Europe. After this real introduction, continue to the historic center and the Grand Place. The UNESCO-listed Renaissance-style town hall is undoubtedly the most remarkable building. The Grand Place is lined with many richly decorated guild houses adorned with statues. At its centre is the famous Brabo Fountain and a few steps away is the Cathedral of Our Lady of Antwerp, an architectural masterpiece of Gothic art, with the north tower and its 123-metre spire that has dominated the skyline for more than five centuries.
- EXPERIENCE: Antwerp, the Red Star Line Museum and the Nottebohm Room. This morning, we will begin our discovery of Antwerp with the Grand-Place, on which the elegant facades of old houses follow one another, and we will stop in front of the City Hall (exterior), inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Then we will go to the Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library. Visit one of the most beautiful and prestigious libraries in Belgium. You will discover in particular the Nottebohm Room, one of the best kept secrets of Antwerp. It is located in the oldest wing of the library, where it was converted in 1936 as a ceremonial room. Then visit the Red Star Line Museum which traces the epic of the great wave of emigration to the United States between 1850 and 1930.
Back to the boat for lunch and continued sailing towards Ghent. We will sail on the Scheldt, and pass along a huge area of salt marshes, then it is the great plain before reaching the Terneuzen lock and the Ghent-Terneuzen canal. Arrival in the evening in Ghent.
DAY 4 : GHENT - MIDDLEBURG

- AUTHENTIC: Bruges. Departure by coach to Bruges. Its artistic collections, its gentle way of life, its romantic aura and its architectural appeal are some of the assets of the Little Venice of the North, jewels of Flanders and an essential stop in Northern Europe. A rich maritime city in the 14th century, the city retains from this period a rich and mastered architecture with discreet and elegant finishes. Then, visit a brewery whose history begins in 1856 and tasting.
- EXPERIENCE: Ghent. Discover the highlights of East Flanders' largest city on this tour. Follow in the footsteps of Charles I of Spain and admire the monuments of one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. Ghent's city centre is a pedestrian area that resembles an open-air museum, where typical Flemish architecture reveals an undeniable medieval heritage. Then, beer tasting in a brewery. Ghent's city centre used to have a very large number of breweries. Today, brewers seem to be rediscovering Ghent. The best known is Gruut, which produces its beer not with hops but with spices.
Afternoon sailing to Middelburg. Located on a peninsula in the province of Zeeland, the city is nestled between the North Sea, Belgium and the Netherlands. Arrival at the end of the day. Overnight stopover.
DAY 5 : MIDDLEBURG - VEERE
Optional excursions:
Free morning in Middelburg. Take the opportunity to stroll around the market square with its Gothic town hall or through the historic streets of the city, while enjoying famous monuments such as the Sint Joris militia building. Return on board and continue sailing to Veere.
Free time or optional excursion AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE: the Delta Works. Route to the largest water defence structure in the world, located on the territory and coasts of the Netherlands. Its purpose is to combat maritime flooding, particularly for the provinces of Zeeland, South Holland and North Brabant. The Delta Works is the work of several decades. 5 storm surge barriers, 2 locks, 6 dams. During the Delta Expedition, the impressive engineering structures of the Delta Works come to life. During your visit, you will explore part of the Delta Works. Return on board for dinner. Night navigation to Dordrecht.
DAY 6 : DORDRECHT
Morning cruise on the Holland Canal, the widest of the Rhine Delta tributaries in the Netherlands. Arrival in Dordrecht in the late morning. In the afternoon, optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion: the Kinderdijk windmills. Discover the magnificent windmills of Kinderdijk and see how the Dutch have been mastering water for over 1,000 years thanks to unique know-how. Departure on foot to the famous mill site. It is the only place in the world where you can see so many mills together. This is one of the reasons why the Kinderdijk windmills have been a World Heritage Site since 1997. Return on board and continue sailing to Brussels. Night navigation. Gala evening.
DAY 7: BRUSSELS
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9am. End of our services.
