A cruise along the Markermeer and the Dutch canals, which, in addition to the must-see sights of Edam, Volendam, and Gouda, offers a program of unique included visits. The Kinderdjik windmills, a unique landscape, The Hague and the Mauritshuis, and the Rijksmuseum.
DAY 1: AMSTERDAM
Boarding at 6 p.m. Crew introductions and welcome cocktail in the lounge. Dinner on board.

DAY 2: AMSTERDAM - HOORN
Morning cruise on the Markermeer.
In the afternoon, excursion included: Edam and Volendam . Known for its famous cheese, Edam is much more than that. You will visit the 18th-century cheese warehouses that bring to life the memory of a colorful and delicious past. Cheese tasting. Continue to Volendam, a charming fishing village, known for its pretty harbor, its authentic Dutch character and its traditional costumes. Tasting of smoked eel, the village specialty that the locals go so far as to sing, it is called "Palingsound", the sound of the eel.
Free evening in Hoorn.
DAY 3: GOUDA - ROTTERDAM
Morning cruise. Enjoy a taste of the famous "poffertjes" on board, a traditional dish resembling small, fluffy pancakes.
In the afternoon, excursion included: Gouda . You will discover this beautiful historic city full of treasures with its canals, its cobbled streets with a medieval feel, the market square where the Saint John church is located, whose 70 stained-glass windows make it famous. At the end of the visit, tasting of the famous Gouda.
Navigation to Rotterdam.
DAY 4: ROTTERDAM
Morning cruise on the Markermeer towards Hoorn. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Zuiderzee, the "southern sea" of the Morning excursion included: Kinderdijk Windmills . Departure by coach to the Kinderdijk Windmills site. It is the only place in the world where you can see so many windmills together. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. You will discover nineteen magnificent windmills, built in the 18th century and part of a water management system to combat flooding. You will have the opportunity to enter a mill since some are open to the public.
In the afternoon, excursion included: The Hague and audio-guided tour of the Mauritshuis . Nicknamed the "jewelry box", The Hague houses works by the most important painters of the Netherlands and Flanders, from the 17th and 18th centuries. You will admire the paintings "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Vermeer, "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaas Tulp" by Rembrandt and "The Goldfinch" by Fabritius. You will also be able to see works by Rubens, Jan Steen and Frans Hals. A tasting of stroopwafel, two thin waffles filled with caramel syrup, originally from Gouda, will be offered for afternoon tea.

DAY 5: AMSTERDAM
In the morning, excursion included: Amsterdam by tram and the Jordaan district . On board a tram, you will cross the city center of Amsterdam from the Leidseplein to the Dam, without forgetting all the canals which together form a unique belt around Amsterdam. Continue on foot in the Jordaan district. This picturesque district, with its countless alleys and trendy boutiques, is also associated with many famous figures such as Rembrandt, Queen Beatrix or Anne Frank. Finally, visit the Westerkerk, the largest Protestant church in Holland (subject to religious services).
In the afternoon, excursion included: audio-guided tour of the Rijksmuseum . This museum, world-famous for its impressive collection of works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals, has a museum trail designed as a historical and artistic stroll through the Golden Age. Furniture, ceramics from the East India Company, goldsmith pieces, and dollhouses are revealed in new, bright and airy rooms.
DAY 6: AMSTERDAM
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9 a.m. End of our services.
