DAY 3 CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX
Optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion day: Normandy of yesteryear: charming villages and medieval treasures (lunch included). You will visit one of the most beautiful villages in France, Veules-les-Roses. Nestled since the 4th century in the hollow of a valley leading to the sea, it is one of the oldest villages in the Pays de Caux. A popular holiday destination in the 19th century, notably for artists such as Victor Hugo, its seaside and its timeless alleys will charm you. Experience the authenticity of Normandy through its preserved landscapes and unique atmosphere.
Continue to Saint-Valéry-en-Caux, a pretty seaside town on the coast of the Pays de Caux, with two distinct faces: on one side, a green hinterland, on the other, a seafront framed by chalk cliffs and bordered by pebble beaches.
You'll continue your visit to Catel Manor, a true medieval treasure nestled in the heart of the Pays de Caux. Dating back to the Middle Ages, this manor house, considered one of the oldest in Normandy, offers a fascinating immersion into the medieval era thanks to its authentic and remarkably preserved architecture.
As soon as you step through its gates, you'll be transported to another time. The imposing stone facades, mullioned windows, and period beams bear witness to the mastery of medieval builders. Its interior rooms, steeped in mystery, immerse you in a world steeped in history and local legends.
The manor is surrounded by a peaceful setting, where ancient gardens and the landscapes of the Pays de Caux intertwine harmoniously. Visitors are invited to imagine the daily lives of its former inhabitants through architectural details such as monumental fireplaces, stone vaults, and nooks where history seems to have stood still.
A captivating immersion in the heart of medieval Normandy, where authenticity and heritage are revealed at every step.

In the afternoon, optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion: the Côte Fleurie. Revealed in the 19th century by a Parisian public in love with sea bathing and romantic landscapes, the Côte Fleurie has retained the imprint of the splendor of the time. Between blue sea, green countryside and golden sand, this little corner of paradise with a poetic name has inspired a large number of artists, who delighted (in moderation) in a delicious eau-de-vie called calvados… You will discover a string of seaside resorts, notably passing through Trouville and Deauville. Discovery of the famous distillery of the Château du Breuil (2), in Normandy, where the art of making the prestigious Calvados is passed down from generation to generation. A must-see visit to delve into the history and secrets of this emblematic spirit.
DAY 5 ROUEN - PARIS
In the morning, optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion: Honfleur. You will be charmed by the city of painters with its picturesque alleys and its Vieux-Bassin surrounded by narrow and tall houses. You will walk through the old quarters of the city and discover the salt granaries and the astonishing Sainte-Catherine church, unique in France: entirely made of wood with its separate bell tower.
In the afternoon, an optional AUTHENTIC / EXPERIENCE excursion: Lisieux, a town of character, and discovery of a Norman castle. Immerse yourself in Norman heritage with a trip to Lisieux, the birthplace of Saint Therese. This charming town will captivate you with its rich history and symbolic monuments. You'll stroll through its picturesque streets and be surprised by the authenticity of its half-timbered houses.
Your discovery will continue at the Château de Boutemont (3), a typical jewel of Norman architecture. With its elegant half-timbering, its characteristic regional stones and its enchanting setting, this 17th-century castle, listed as a historic monument, perfectly embodies the authentic charm of Normandy.
From the moment you arrive, you'll be captivated by the harmonious blend of its traditional structures and French-style gardens, which evoke the region's refinement and art of living. The château, a proud witness to centuries past, retains its Norman soul intact: from the exposed beams to the period decorative details, each element tells the story of local history.
Its meticulously landscaped grounds offer a stroll where the half-timbered architecture blends perfectly with the surrounding nature, creating a vivid picture worthy of the most authentic Norman landscapes. Inside, the lounges and reception rooms reveal a decor imbued with elegance and tradition, where one can still sense the Norman family heritage that continues.
