From Port-sur-Saône to Dijon, you will sail on the majestic Burgundy Canal where charming cities await you to tell you their history and show you their most beautiful architectural gems. Go back in time through our guided tours and discover Dijon where you can savor the charm of the former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. Also go and meet the popular arts and traditions, between nobility and peasantry, and soak up the elegance of the Château de Champlitte or the Haute-Saône region, a true paradise thanks to its ponds which bring a touch of freshness.


DAY 1: DIJON(2) - PORT-SUR-SAONE

Possibility of transfer(1) by coach from Dijon to Port-Sur-Saône. Boarding at 6 p.m. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. Dinner on board.

DAY 2: PORT-SUR-SAONE - RAY-SUR-SAONE

Navigation towards Ray-sur-Saône. The Voie Bleue cycle route heads towards Ray-sur-Saône, a town of character, following the meanders of the wild Saône. You can borrow the bikes on board to ride along the Voie Verte(2). Arrival and visit the medieval castle of Champlitte. Once the home of powerful local families, the castle of Champlitte has undergone significant architectural changes over the course of its history, from its origins in the Middle Ages to the 19th century. In the Middle Ages, it was a fortified castle that stood in the centre of Champlitte. Burned down many times, it was rebuilt by the architect Bertrand and the sculptor Breton in the shape of a horseshoe in the 19th century. The first floor of the castle is now occupied by the museum of popular arts and traditions. Many objects and furniture dating from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century were collected there by Albert and Félicie Demard. Rural interiors, workshops, shops, it is an entire village community that is told from one room to another.

DAY 3: RAY-SUR-SAONE - GRAY

Navigation to Gray. Don't hesitate to borrow the bikes(2). The Blue Way allows you to travel safely in a green setting.

Guided tour of Gray . The city has always lived to the rhythm of the Saône. The vast stone quays still bear witness to the intense port activity developed in Gray over the centuries, leaving the city with a remarkable architectural heritage. You will see the Town Hall and its famous glazed tile roof, the 15th century Notre-Dame basilica, the Italian-style theater, the medieval castle, now the Baron Martin museum, etc. The tour will end with a tasting* of local products.

DAY 4: GRAY - AUXONNE

Day sailing on the Petite Saône. Since ancient times, the river has been navigable by small boats between Corre and Saint-Jean-de-Losne. Thanks to development work in the 19th century, it has become over time the second busiest waterway in France. A direct waterway between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, it attracts many boaters from Northern Europe. A unique and wild interlude, the Petite Saône will offer boaters a peaceful navigation, close to nature, where each stage will be a time for them to appreciate the pleasures of slowness in a preserved environment.

You will cross a part of the Haute-Saône whose peaceful watercourse will allow you to enjoy a few walks or bike rides(2) along the river. At the end of the afternoon, arrival in Auxonne.

DAY 5: AUXONNE - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE

Morning sailing to Longecourt-en-Plaine. We will take the Burgundy Canal which joins the Saône at Losne, the navigation continues on the Petite Saône to Longecourt-en-Plaine.

Burgundy Grands Crus Route Excursion. The wine route crosses the most prestigious part of the Burgundy vineyard. This unmissable tour reveals the world-famous appellations and makes this land internationally renowned. You will discover the Clos de Vougeot, a majestic castle with a glazed tile roof. It is the lair of the Knights of Tastevin, a venerable brotherhood and ambassador of Burgundy throughout the world. You will see the old presses, the vat room and the large cellar. Then drive to a wine estate for a tasting* of Burgundy wines.

DAY 6: LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE - DIJON

Morning sailing. Take the opportunity to relax on the sun deck or borrow the bikes to ride along the canal. The banks are pleasantly laid out

Guided tour of Dijon, the historic capital of Burgundy. Crowned with the label "City of Art and History", it has a vast protected area of ​​97 hectares. Its entirely pedestrian city center reveals real treasures, half-timbered houses, Romanesque and Gothic churches, private mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries, majestically highlight the medieval streets of the former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. Located in the heart of the city, the Palace of the Dukes and States of Burgundy remains the most emblematic monument of Dijon. Free time. Freely discover the City of Gastronomy and Wine. Gala evening.

DAY 7: DIJON

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9.00 a.m. End of our services.

DAY 1: DIJON

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. in Dijon. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner.

DAY 2: DIJON - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE

This morning will be spent cruising. Take advantage of this first day cruising to relax and admire the beautiful Burgundy scenery, or to walk or bike alongside the boat on the canal's bicycle path (1). In the afternoon, join us on an excursion along the Grands Crus Wine Route. The touristic Grands Crus wine route passes through villages and the finest and most prestigious of the Burgundy vineyards. We'll return on board in Longecourt-en-Plaine.

DAY 3: LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE - SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE

This morning will be spent cruising. As we travel, you are free to bike along the Doubs River at any time by taking the Green Way bike path (1). In the afternoon, join us on a tour of Saint-Jean-de-Losne. We'll explore monuments that tell the story of the city's prestigious past, such as the monument commemorating the Siege of 1636, and the Hotel-Dieu, which was a charitable hospital founded in 1658 and is surrounded by intricately wrought iron railings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The visit will end with a tasting of local specialties from Burgundy.

DAY 4: SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE - CHALON-SUR-SAONE

This morning will be spent cruising towards Chalon-sur-Saone. As we cruise, you'll admire the Saone River's hilly banks and typical local houses perched on its hillsides. Feel free to ride alongside the boat taking the Green Way bike path (1). In the afternoon, join us on a tour of Chalon-sur-Saone, birthplace of Joseph Nicephore Niepce, one of the inventors of photography.

DAY 5: CHALON-SUR-SAONE - CHAGNY

This morning will be spent cruising towards Chagny. This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the hillside scenery and rolling meadows along our route. We'll set out for a hike to the Cirque du Bout du Monde. We'll discover the imposing chalk cliffs carved out by the Cozanne River which created a blind valley, where a waterfall over 80 feet high adds a touch of wonder.

DAY 6: CHAGNY - SANTENAY - SAINT-LEGER-SUR-DHEUNE

We'll set off towards Santenay, a wine village with a priceless historical and natural heritage, which we will reach during the morning. We'll set off from the ship and walk to the center of Santenay, a charming little wine-producing village. Join us for a wine tasting* session at one of the 38 wine producers' in the village. In the afternoon, we'll cruise towards Saint-Leger-sur-Dheune. Relax and admire the passing lush landscapes. Late in the afternoon, we'll arrive in St. Leger-sur-Dheune. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner.

DAY 7: SAINT-LEGER-SUR-DHEUNE - DIJON

Dijon arring late morning. End of our services.
