DAY 1: Cologne, Germany (Embarkation)
The huge Christmas tree looks almost dainty against the Cologne Cathedral. The Christmas spirit is immediately found at boarding in our starting city of the river cruise, the impressive Cologne. In the best festive mood we start towards the Netherlands, while the cathedral slowly becomes smaller and smaller on the horizon. And now it's time to say: Christmas ahoy!DAY 2: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Small but nice is the Christmas market in the center of Rotterdam - Christmas spirit comes easily even here. Marvel at the endless lights of the futuristic-looking city. Whether you warm up with one (or even more) mulled wine, stroll contemplatively through the city center or eagerly search for gifts and small souvenirs - that is of course up to you!
In addition to visiting Christmas Markets, there are optonal excursions available - such as a visit to Miniature World Madurodam or a look at the Architecture and Innovaton of Rotterdam.
DAY 3: Amsterdam, Netherlands
In Amsterdam, the city of 1539 bridges, Christmas-lit houseboats bob along the canals. The creative Dutch outdo each other when it comes to Christmas decorations. The brighter it glows, the better it is. In addition to ice rinks for skating and Dutch-style Christmas markets, many museums are mostly open for those who crave a contrast to angel choirs and tinsel.
In addition to visiting Christmas Markets, there are optonal excursions available - such as a Bus Tour of Amsterdam, Enchanting Haarlem or an evening Canal Tour of Amsterdam.
DAY 4: Utrecht, Netherlands
Utrecht is also transformed into a fairytale city during Advent and Christmas. Between the Christmas trees and warm lights you walk through the alleys of Utrecht, to the heart of the city - the cathedral, which stretches over the rooftops. And as you make your way along the canals, you're sure to find a Christmas gift or two for your loved ones in the many small stores and boutiques.
In addition to visiting Christmas Markets, there are optonal excursions available - such as a City Tour of Utecht or a Tour of the Harbor of Spakenburg.
