Explore the abundant treasures of Austria and Hungary on a unique cruise to discover the secrets of the Danube. Admire the colorful alleys of Bratislava that twist around each other like in a fairy-tale village, and the Puszta, the true soul and heart of Hungary. Visit the Gellert baths, which are full of a wide range of balneotherapy services, but also the Sisi Museum, which puts in comparison myth and truth. There, you will be able to contemplate many personal effects as well as the most famous portraits of the legendary Empress.

 

DAY 1: VIENNA

Embarkation at 6:00pm in Vienna. Welcome cocktail, crew presentation. Dinner on board and free time or optional guided tour of Vienna by night. Cruise departure around midnight towards Melk.

DAY 2: VIENNA - MELK - DURNSTEIN

Breakfast on board. Arrival early in the morning. Optional excursion of the Abbay of Melk. Return onboard for lunch and cruise departure towards Durnstein, thru the beautiful Wachau Arrival early afternoon in Durnstein, which will be visited with your hostess. Return on board in the mid afternoon and continue on to Bratislava. Dinner on board.

DAY 3: BRATISLAVA

After breakfast, optional excursion of Bratislava. Return on board for lunch and cruise departure towards Kalocsa, in Hungary. Afternoon cruise, dinner on board.

Join us for theoptional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the capital of Slovakia. The baroque palaces and the beautiful shaded squares make the charm of Bratislava, which Marie-Theresa of Austria used to hold dear.
DISCOVER: Hiking in Bratislava: the Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, we’ll take in the splendid view of Bratislava. The afternoon will be spent cruising.

DAY 4: KALOCSA - BUDAPEST

Breakfast on board and optional excursion to the Puzsta, including a horse show. Return on board for lunch and cruise towards Budapest, the pearl of the Danube. Dinner on board.

DAY 5: BUDAPEST

Breakfast on board. All meals served on board. Free day in Budapest or optional guided tour of the city. With its numerous buildings, Budapest is an historical emblem. After dinner, free evening or optional evening with traditional dances in Budapest.

Join us for the optional excursions proposed: 
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Budapest, the metropolis that was once two distinct cities united only in 1873: Buda, on one bank with its rolling hills and valleys; and Pest, on the other, with its flatter landscape offering a panoramic view over the banks of the Danube.
DISCOVERY: Budapest by bike. You'll see all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other legendary sites in Budapest.
Join us for the optional excursion (not included in the packages): Discover the Gellert Baths and Spa. 
In the evening, join us on an excursion for both packages: Evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.

DAY 6: BUDAPEST - ESZTERGOM

Breakfast on board. Early cruise departure towards Esztergom. Free visit of Esztergom and cruise departure towards Vienna around 11am. Lunch on board and afternoon cruise. Gala dinner and evening.

DAY 7: VIENNA

Ship arrival early morning. After breakfast optional guided visit of Vienna and Schonbrunn. Return on board for lunch. Free afternoon or optional guided tour of Hofburg, the Hapsburg palace. Return onboard for diner. Possibility of concert Vienna music (optional and depending on availability).

Join us for the excursions proposed: 
CLASSIC: Guided visit of Vienna and Schönbrunn Castle.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus(2) concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry. 
In the afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Hofburg Palace. In the evening, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability.)

DAY 8: VIENNA

Disembarkation after Breakfast. End of our services.

 

Optional excursion. (2) The tour of the Konze rthaus might be replaced by a tour of the Musikverein or the opera if it is booked for shows or not available. Alcohol can be harmful to your health. Please drink in moderation.
