AUTHENTIC: visit to Heidelberg and its castle . Departure for a visit to Heidelberg, the city symbol of German romanticism. Meet with the guides at Heidelberg Castle, where you will discover with them the exterior of this magnificent pink sandstone castle, partially in ruins. Since the end of the 18th century, the ruins of the castle inspired painters and poets who saw it as a symbol of the grandeur and decadence of human works. Goethe, Hölderlin, Uhland and Eichendorff celebrated the castle landscape while many painters chose it as a motif. Also discover the geometric terraces of the Palatinate Garden, the “Hortus Palatinus”, once considered the “eighth wonder of the world”. You will continue in the company of your guides with a visit to the old town. You will admire the Church of the Holy Spirit (exterior) built between 1398 and 1441 and burial place of the prince-electors.

EXPERIENCE: visit to the Sinsheim Automobile and Technology Museum (only upon pre-reservation before departure). Founded in 1981, this museum has a multitude of unique exhibits on the history of technology. The emblems of the museum are two of the best-known supersonic aircraft in the history of civil aviation: the Franco-British Concorde and the Soviet Tupolev TU-144. During your self-guided tour, you will have the opportunity to admire classic cars and motorcycles from all eras, huge locomotives, legendary Formula 1 cars, sports cars, engines the size of a house, agricultural machinery and many others.

During the excursions, the boat will sail to Heidelberg where we will join it. Return on board for lunch and continue sailing towards Eberbach. Arrival in the evening and free stroll in the medieval city. Located in the "Neckartal-Odenwald" nature park, Eberbach was founded in the 13th century and has preserved a rich cultural past.
