DAY 1 : STRASBOURG
- RHINAU
Embarkation of the ship in Strasbourg at around
3:00 PM with settling into the
cabin. An introduction of the crew is made while our guests sip on an Alsatian
style welcome cocktail. On this special gastronomic cruise, the chefs
from our entire fleet work under the direction of Alain Bohn. The ship
departs Strasbourg via the south lock and sails up the Rhine River
towards Basel. We pass through two large locks, the
Neuhof and the Gerstheim, with a stop in Rhinau. Now the party begins
and our guests enter the dining room for
tonight's dinner which is prepared by 9 chefs.
This first gastronomic dinner of the cruise will
be followed by a dance evening. Overnight in Rhinau
DAY 2 :
RHINAU
- VIEUX BRISACH
- MARCKOLSHIM
Our hostess will lead a fitness class this
morning before breakfast for any
interested guests. Breakfast is served on board between 8:00-10:00 AM.
Departure of the cruise begins as we sail up the Rhine towards Vieux-
Brisach. Your first gastronomic lunch is served on board. This
lunch is followed by an
optional sightseeing tour of the Alsace Wine Route. During the
tour, there is a visit to a wine cellar and a wine tasting. We
return on board at 6:00 PM. At the end of the day, we are pleased
to introduce you to one of the
greatest chefs for French cuisine: Marc Haeberlin,
from the Auberge de l'Ill in Illhaeusern. Chef |

Haeberlin, a
master of gastronomy, will create a surprise menu with a special
flair for our guests. After
this wonderful dinner, you are free to go to the lounge
and finish the evening on the dance floor. The ship will depart
from the quay in Vieux-Brisach at around 7:00
PM and sail towards Marckolsheim where it
docks for the night.
DAY
3 :
MARCKOLSHIM
- STRASBOURG
Before breakfast, the most courageous among our
guests are invited to join our
hostess for a jog along the Rhine.
Breakfast is served again between 8:00-10:00
AM. A good meal is always accompanied by a good wine, that is why
we will have the privilege to welcome on board, Serge Dubs, the internationally
renowned sommelier. Serge Dubs was elected the "Best
Sommelier of the World" in 1989 and he will organize a wine
tasting on board, where he will
share his knowledge of these different wines with our
guests. By the way, you can also find him on any given day at the
Auberge de l'Ill in
Illhaeusern. Now for the second gastronomic lunch. The ship leaves
Marckolsheim later on this morning and sails towards Strasbourg. The
festivities continue with the second gastronomic dinner and the farewell
evening. Arrival in Strasbourg later that evening for the final
overnight on board.
DAY 4 :
STRASBOURG
Breakfast is served and followed by
disembarkation of the ship. End of our services.

Prices Include: Full board cruise from
dinner of the first day to lunch of the last day in a double
cabin with showers and toilets, welcome drink, entertainment, the
Captain's evening, the assistance
of our hostess on board, a great gastronomic dinner by Marc Haeberlin of
Auberge de l'Ill in
Illhaeusern, a wine tasting with Serge Dubs, also
from Auberge de l'Ill in Illhaeusern.and port taxes.
Prices Do Not Include: Drinks, coffee
with lunch and dinner, insurance and optional excursions.
For reasons of navigation and passenger safety,
the Captain of the ship reserve the right to modify the itinerary of the
cruise.
